Fast rising model and Miss Exclusive Nigeria 2013, Mabel Sobio Tonye died yesterday evening Nov. 22nd, aged just 19. According to a source who spoke with LIB, Mabel complained of stomach pains yesterday and died on her way to the hospital. Doctors suggested that she died of food poisoning. So so sad! May her soul rest in perfect peace...Amen.

Wn she returned to her hostel she complained to her roommates of stomach ache n later died d day.after dt I started avoiding eatin in fast food joints, cos wether it ws d gals d served d food or her friends,no1 knws till today.so wether bacteria poisoning or intentional poisoning, goes both ways

Doctor....food poisoning result from ingestion of contaminated foods, or raw food and can affect the GI system and also neurologic symptoms can occur depending on the time onset and causative agent. Bacteria can kill fast if not treated immediately with professional intervention. Not only someone poisoning her food.Causative agents are too many( bacteria). Again the Doctor should not assume, assumption in medicine is not professional. Kindly do an autopsy to be sure.

To do an autopsy, you need the consent of the family members. You don't just snap your fingers and get it done. In Nigeria sadly, most people would prefer to let their dead be buried in "peace"
Geez people. Are the people who write comments on this blog illiterates? Food poisoning is from ingesting contaminated or undercooked foods. I have had food poisoning twice but it wasn't severe. You can avoid food poisoning by cooking your food thoroughly and washing your hands properly.
